Question - Art Student Use of Facilities
An art student in a pottery class makes a number of bowls
and platters over the course of the semester in fulfillment
of his class requirements. The student's technique is good
and his colorful glazing is a hit with his fellow art students.
He gives some of the bowls and platters away as gifts and
the recipients love them. One evening, his roommate tags along
when he goes to finish a piece in the pottery studio. The
studio is open on evenings and weekends so students may practice
throwing and have ample time within which to create the prescribed
number of pieces required for the course. After inquiring
about the availability of clay, glazes and kiln time, his
roommate suggests that the art student take advantage of as
much studio time as possible, so he can produce more bowls
and platters which they will then sell to other students on
campus. The art student isn't too sure about the suggestion.
Is his roommate's suggestion a good one?
